The Lamplighter Public House was founded in 1899 as a bar. In 1875, there were only 10 buildings in Gastown, 4 of which were dedicated to selling alcoholic beverages. Therefore, this bar has a sense of history and is still popular today because of its attentive service, pleasant atmosphere, and a variety of cocktails, beers, etc.

This is a nice place, a popular lively and relaxed place. It is popular with young people but as one of the oldest couples here we didn&#39;t feel too bad. The food was delicious, I had the Italian style pork belly sandwich which was delicious.

This restaurant is very close to our hotel and we recommended it here from a local in Vancouver. We really enjoyed the food here! We agreed that we would eat here if we stayed one more day. Meatballs are delicious, love the pasta here, but chicken balls are the most popular on the table. Delicious!

The recent Dine Out Vancouver event, Clough Club also participated, three dishes for dinner totaled 15 knives. After the big red wall of Linplighter, the area was small and the lights were dim. Only one person at the front desk was mixing cocktails and telling me: &quot;The bar does not accept children.&quot; I had to leave disappointed.

The location is very good, parking is more convenient, the waiter will speak simple Chinese, and it is very humorous, very good

Blarney Stone is the name of a western restaurant in Gastown. The name itself comes from the stone on the wall of Blarney in Ireland. According to legend, if you kiss this stone, you will become eloquent. It is an Irish bar with live music and dance performances, and a burger called Blarney Burger.

Friendly bar staff and attentive waiting staff are a good start, but a really poor plate of poutine with a ham hock was SO disappointing. If you opt for a meat dish, then some meat flavour is expected. This mishmash was poor in preparation and delivered the aroma of ham, but so little texture or flavour; even the fries were poor and the cheese flavourless. I know it’s a bar, but 17 dollars for this was outrageous.

We came here for the Tuesday night trivia and had a great time. Everyone was really friendly and it was a great night. We had dinner here as well; there was only one vegan option, which was far too spicy for me.

A good time

Called in for a drink when we were having a wander around Gas Town. Staff were very helpful and chatty. Couldn&apos;t get a seat on the patio so sat inside. It is quite a big bar area and the place soon filled up. I tried a local lager that was really good and husband had a Heinekin. Too soon for us to eat but the food looked good.

This restaurant was close to our hotel and we were recommended by a local in Vancouver. We loved our meal so much! We agreed that we would eat here again if we stayed another day. The meatballs were delicious and the pasta was a big hit with the chicken meatballs. Delicious!
